Management

Peter Lim

Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner

Dr. Lim is the co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Xiamen Securities. He was one of the Directors and Asia-Pacific Head of media investments at JP Morgan. Dr. Lim was awarded “The Best Investment Banker” by iResearch. He was also ranked the number one stock picker within software and services in Asia and Greater China regions by the Financial Times and South China Morning Post. Dr. Lim was voted as the First Team (Asia) by Asiamoney and Absolute Return & Alpha magazines. He has participated in the IPO launch of over a dozen companies, including Alibaba.com, Tencent, Dangdang, Perfect World, Shanda, RenRen, Xueersi (TAL Group), YY.com, Phoenix New Media and MakeMyTrip.
Peter received his Doctor of Sciences degree from Harvard University and an MBA degree from Wharton Business School, where he was on the List for academic excellence.

Steve Fu

Managing Partner

Mr. Fu is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Xiamen Securities. He was a Managing Director and the Asia-Pacific Co-Head of the Private Wealth Management business at Morgan Stanley. During his time at Morgan Stanley, he was a pioneer of the offshore China wealth management business and established extensive relations among various successful Chinese entrepreneurs. He served as a member of Morgan Stanley’s China Management Committee, Asia Private Wealth Management Committee, and International Wealth Management Committee.
Mr. Fu holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Princeton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Nicole Woo

Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Woo is the Chief Operating Officer of Xiamen Securities.  Nicole has over 15 years in financial derivatives and risk management.  She has most recently served as the Head of Risk Management for the Private Wealth Management (PWM) business in Asia at Citi Group.  Prior to that, she had been a Risk Manager at Tudor Capital Europe, a top-tier multi-billion dollar US hedge fund, and had also worked at Goldman Sachs' and JP Morgan's derivatives division in London.
Nicole received her B.A. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and also holds a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.

Robin Masters

Institutional Trading Director

Mr. Robin Masters іѕ thе hеаd of аll аѕѕеtѕ оf thе company. Hе іѕ thе second chair іn negotiations for most dеаlѕ brоught tо оur company. He wеnt tо ѕсhооl аt Hаrvаrd Unіvеrѕіtу in the USA as wеll аѕ worked at Goldman Sachs and JPMоrgаn fоr 20 уеаrѕ. Hе оvеrѕееѕ 150 brоkеrѕ whісh wоrk dіrесtlу аnd іndіrесtlу fоr оur company. Hіѕ knоwlеdgе оf еԛuіtіеѕ, dеrіvаtіvеѕ аnd new іѕѕuеѕ is quite extensive, соntіnuоuѕlу brіngіng dеаl flоw tо оur соmраnу. He has a wife аnd оnе ѕоn who hе spends a lоt of hіѕ реrѕоnаl tіmе wіth аnd іѕ a grеаt vаluе tо our соmраnу.

Simon Ng, CFA, CPA

Executive Director

Mr. Ng is one of the Executive Directors at Xiamen Securities. Prior to joining XS, he was a Vice President at JPM (Asia), with seven years of equity research experience covering Chinas Internet sector at, where his team was consistently recognized by Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates and AsiaMoney. He was involved in the public listing of some leading Chinese online companies, including YY.com, 58.com and Cheetah Mobile. Simon began his career as an accountant with PwC and Deloitte.
He received his double Bachelor degrees in business and laws from The University of Hong Kong, and an MBA degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a CFA Charterholder, and a Chartered Accountant in England & Wales and in Hong Kong.

Melissa Wong, CPA

Executive Director

Ms. Wong is an Executive Director at Xiamen Securities. Prior to joining Xiamen Securities, she worked at HSBC as an equity research analyst in the China Internet and media team, which was consistently recognized by Institutional Investor, Greenwich Associates and Asiamoney. She was involved in the public listing of some Chinese Internet leaders, such as Dangdang, Renren, Phoenix New Media and YY Inc. Prior to HSBC, Melissa worked at Newedge as an internal auditor, leading projects across Asia and in London to help management solve organizational issues.  She was an Assistant Manager at KPMG.
Melissa received her Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia and is a member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ge Wu

Independent Director

Mr. Ge Wu is an Independent Director at Xiamen Securities and Shanghai Yanhua Smartech Group Co. Ltd., a Member at All-China Youth Federation, General Secretary at Shanghai Finance Youth Ferderation, and General Secretary at Shanghai Health & Medicine Youth Federation. He is on the Board of Directors at Xiamen Securities Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yanhua Smartech Group Co. Ltd., and Shang Hai Zhong Yi Da Co., Ltd.

Mr. Wu was previously employed as Executive Director by Boshiwa International Holdings Ltd.

He received his graduate degree from East China Normal University and an MBA from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.

Xuejun Zheng

Chief Economist

Mr. Xuejun Zheng serves as Chief Economist of Xiamen Securities Co., Ltd. Mr. Zheng serves as a Senior Economist of Xiamen Securities Research Division. Mr. Zheng serves as the General Manager of the Xiamen Business Division at Essence Securities Co., Ltd. He has been Independent Director at Fujian Guanfu Modern Household Wares Co.,Ltd since October 8, 2011. He served as an Independent Director of Xiamen Xindeco Ltd. He serves as a Visiting Professor of the Finance Department and Professor at the Management Department of Xiamen University.
